South we go....

We spend a couple of more days in Bangkok, going to see the Grand Palace in Bangkok - trremendous place. Some really funky statues, all made out of 24K gold.

On the way there I got shat on by a pigeon. It's lucky in glasgow but in Thailand they just laugh at you. Then try and steal your money. Decent.

So on our last day in Bangkok, we have to take the later train down south, so Chuck and I kill some time by taking a boat ride on the main river in Bangkok on a longtail boat:

We arrive at a crocodile zoo on the river in the middle of a shanty town. Miller lets a monkey climb over her head.

I am never sleeping in the same room as her ever again. Monk-aids.

We say good bye to Mr Tam and Mr Joe after they bought us a couple of drinks while we wait for the train and they (quelle surprise) smile:

So its onto the sleeper train down to Surat Thani. Quite surreal. Packed like sardines into our carriage, we then attempt to sleep. I will never again need to stick my fingers down my throat to whitey, simply remember the smell of the toilet on the train. And also remember the fact that I wasn't wearing any shoes. Sick.

So after 21 hours of travel, including bus and boat, we arrive to Koh Phangan. This next photo will make you all sick back home. This is where Laura and I are staying for the next few days.

Met a group of burds from Glasgow, Norway, Oz, fecking everywhere and got pished last night and collapsed in my bed - the 1st decent night's sleep i've had since leaving Glasgow!

So it's the full moon party tonight, which will be extreme amounts of steamboat, with everywhere on the beach belting out trance, house, hip hop, hard-thumping-underground-powerplant-crash-techno-funk-german-whore-smash music which is nice.

Peek eh - thanks for the mail bro, like the poster, have just made it the background wallpaper on all the machines in this cafe.

Maw+Paw - nice work on the e-mail, pwoud, vewwy pwoud.

All emails/text to the usual address/number (fizin.com) will be most immensly appreciated.

Welcome to Thailand!

Well folks,

Arrived safe and sound before being driven to the hotel by a fucking loony. Bankok is well busy, but full of the kindest people you've ever met. Until, that is, until you head into some factory full of 11 year olds making jewellery and get told to leave for 'Vasting mai tieeem'.

The prices here are unbelievable. 9 Baht for a bottle of coke which I thot was a total rip off until I actually worked it out and it came to less than 15 pence. Been shopping with Millar in the biggest building I have ever seen, the MBK in downtown Bangkok. 7 stories high, with each storey being loads bigger than a football field. So naturally Laura thinks it is a good idea we look at every single shop looking for 'some old skirt!'

Got a Tuk-tuk back from the MBK, you need to be in one to believe it. Its a bike driven by a psycho that has the loudest 2-stroke engine in the world bolted onto the chassis. Mental, but truly awesome. Had the spiciest curry ever for lunch (30 pence) so I will be expecting some ridiculous Lip-Biting action later on.

Have booked all our travel and accomodation for the next month(ish) into islands of thailand like Ko Phi Phi, Ko Phangan etc, which cost a shitload of Baht, but once you smack it into Sterling, it aint that bad. Some monkey called 'Mr Tom' did it for us at the travel agents. He kept stroking my arm and calling himself a ladyboy despite having a wife and daughter. Sick.

Also some taxi driver called Mr Joe thinks that Scotland is an island off the coast of Portugal - its great fucking about with these Thai folk's minds. All the best to Rangers 2nite against the Man U SCUM!

Loy - hope ure feeling OK after ure bday! If you could email me the current price of sending/receiving a text from thailand on Orange OVP virgin, that would be Eff-Aye-Zed-Aye-En.

No pictures yet, but I'll weekcha!!

Cheers Wee-sacks,

Mr Mickey

Loy's Blindness!

Happy Birthday Loyd!!!!

After promising myself I wouldn't drink on my last night on British soil, I gave in and got completely blotto. Good to see loy back to his usual drunken stalking tricks. Done.

So I leave in about an hour, totally hungover, slightly nervous and with an ashtray mouth. Was hoping to get some pictures up from last night, but all I can manage is from the night before the night before (halloween) - insane blottoness. Big rossco has got to get a mention for his costume. Absolutely fizin!! He would've even won a prize in the garage if the folks coulda found him.

So I'll leave you all and finish my packing. The next time i'll be talking to you will be from somewhere in Thailand, probably Bangkok. Oh and Millar and I will most likely be too drunk to speak.

Catch ya on the flip side,

Mickster
