Happy Easter from Cairns

Hello all you love gods.

My thought for the week. Many people wonder why I don't have exciting stories to tell on here that contain tales of lovely ladies, cottage cheese and dwarves riding on horseback. Believe me, if you have heard the stories (about the 1st one anyway) they are all true. The simple fact is that I can't give out too much information because some very important people read this blog. People like mums, dads, law officials and, of course, dwarves.

With that aside, I write to you now from Cairns in nothern Queensland. This place is mental. It's so touristy that it would probably make some of you wince, but the place we're staying in is quality, all the drinks in town are cheap as, and Laura, Ross and I have just booked our PADI!! So while you guys are in bed on saturday night, we'll be SCUBA diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Get that right up the lot of you!

The last couple of weeks have been pretty hectic. Got a promotion at work, doing allsorts of IT jobs instead of being on the phones which was a welcome change. Leaving work was a wee bitty sad, have met some quality folk there like big Mike D, Paul, Kyle, Erin, Chi, Bryan the sailor, Nikky, Big Bad Brad and all the rest! The last day we head to our local for a few shandies...

Our weekends were the usual Empire tomfoolery: falling over on the dancefloor, eating sushi, singing all the way back home, dropping J-Bombs and watching Phil dance. Laura's mates from uni left for NZ - lads, what a laugh, had a quality time - their site is at http://gallery37355.fotopic.net/ - go and have a look at their brilliant pictures.

We'll all miss Syndey - its a quality, quality place. We managed to leave that slacker Phil behind with his burd Ashley! They're coming up to meet us in about a week for a bit of carnage before Millar and I head down the coast. Here's a picture of Phil taking a piss...

We arrived at our hostel, dropped our bags, won the quiz and 2 pitchers of beer, got thoroughly minging, and headed out to the infamous Woolshed where we danced like lunatics, drank like lunatics and ate kebabs like lunatic Turkish people.

So it's here I sit in a crap internet cafe about a week after I started typing this. (The pics you see were far too big to stick on here) Cairns is completely tropical - palm trees everywhere, rain, some sunshine, rain, hot and sticky weather, rain, humid and it rains sometimes as well.

It also rains. Have met some seriously cool folk over here, apart from that Canadian prick that gave Ross and I the bull horns sign while he was eating a fried egg sandwich. That was the most uncool thing i've ever seen.

We're all looking forward to when Phil and his burd Ashley arrive in a couple of days, and Millardo and I will head down the coast in about a week after that. Remember Phil? He's the tall guy with the bare ass above. He would like to hear from any women that look like Smeagle from Lord of the Rings to leave him a message on this site.

The next time I post something, I'm pretty sure I can make you all jealous back home, so keep tuned, sorry for the wait.
