Aloha!!
Ah, yes - the typical Hawaiian cliché. It does actually get used everywhere, everyday though so there you go. We leave here tomorrow bound for Vancouver, so a good time to get rid of most of the crap from my camera and tell you what I've been doing.
We meet up with Nat and J (hello you tarts!) from fraser island. After that, it's little more than a blur. A solid 8 days on Waikiki beach getting burnt, a liquid 8 nights in the magical room A203 drinking Gallo chardonnay. Doesn't really get much better. Waikiki is the Magaluf of America - we play on the sand by day, play drinking games by night. It's also a little too touristy, but we stick around for one thing...
Millardo, Nat, J and I head to the 'World-famous' Gerrmaines Luau. If you're wondering what a Luau is, it's where they dig up a pig and people get drunk and eat it. We're treated to the usual fire and knife dancing stuff, grab a few beers and sing crap songs on the bus home.
In the next few days, we hit the Coronas hard in the afternoon. The lads - Craig, Jared, Adam, Jono and I sit on the beach wall, kick back the Coronas and watch the sun go down. The next day, the same. Adam gets into the swing of things later on in the week...
Coronas appear to the group as if by magic. The geniuses at ABC sell crates of the stuff on every block, along with limes!!! ABCs over here are legendary - they are everywhere you turn, on every corner, selling everything you ever want. Corona.
We say our farewells to Jared and, shortly after, Nat and Jules too. They will all be sadly missed. Bye guys!! This was most of us in the famous room A302...
And yes, that's all we have done. 5 of us did go up to the North Shore for a couple of nights and stayed on a little shack near the beach, but you simply don't want to see the pictures of that. It can all be summed up in one word. Corona.
And so on to Canadia, sometimes called Canada. Can't wait for it - even a 4-day break from America would do us good already.
Lovin' your work,
Corona,
Mick
